Baxtros offer official PlayStation 1 consoles for sale in refurbished condition. The Sony PS1 console was first released in the year 1994.  The first model of the PlayStation 1 console was the a larger more chunky model.  Following on from this came the slim line model, more compact and easier to transport if  you wanted to take it to a friends to play. The PS1 console was released in a simple grey colour.  There were some other releases, such as black and blue which were used for development purposes.

Paired with the Sony PS1 console, was the PS1 controller, a simple set up but comfortable controller to play with.  Following on from this the PS1 Dual Shock 1 controller was released, combine with analog sticks and vibration Dual Shock motors, this paved the way for future PlayStation gaming.
