The PSP 3000 console was first released in October 2008, unlike its predecessor, it had a much brighter screen to enhance game playfor players. The console sold 267,000 units in it’s first month of release in Japan, enhancing it’s popularity in the market place. The console was the final type of it’s style to be produced, after being taken over by its successor the PSP GO in 2009. In 2012 the PSP 3000 console was discontinued.

I was honestly really nervous ordering from Baxtros at first after reading mixed reviews online, but my experience ended up being really good. I ordered the Vibrant Yellow PSP 3000 and it arrived quickly, well packaged, and in great condition. The console looks beautiful, works properly, and even came with custom firmware already installed which was a nice surprise for gaming from a memory card.
The PSP itself feels genuine, clean, and the buttons & screen all work really well. One thing I genuinely love is how satisfying the buttons feel to press they feel responsive, smooth, and almost brand new rather than cheap or fake replacements. The whole console honestly gives that fresh out the box PSP feeling which I wasn’t expecting from a refurbished handheld.
Battery and charger were included too. Overall I’m really happy with it and excited to start playing games on it properly once my memory card arrives. Thank you Baxtros!
