The Gameboy Micro Console was first released on 13^th September 2005 in Japan, followed on 19^th of the same month in North America. Australian & European releases came later on 3^rd & 4^th November 2005 respectively. In total, the Gameboy Advance range (including Gameboy Advance & SP consoles) sold in excess of 81 million consoles worldwide. Although fairly successful and most probably one of the smallest handheld consoles to ever exist it was short lived and was discontinued in 2006.
